dp sed May 13th 2009:
> We lost our friend Agua today to an auto accident in Oklahoma.

We met September 24, 1999 on the 3rd Vermort Run.
We became brothers instantly.

We rode tens of thousands of miles together.
I never felt safer than when Agua was leading.
I was privileged to know he felt the same way.

Every ride was an adventure.
Every ride was better than the last.

There was nothing he wouldn't try.
There was nothing he couldn't take.

He hated rain gear.

He was the Wasserkopf.
He was the Zoomie Asshole.
He was a true Southern Gentleman.
He was a good father.

He loved wrenching.
He loved riding fast.
He loved riding slow.
He loved riding in the mountains.
He loved riding in the deserts.
He loved good beer.
He loved bear hugs.
He loved guns.
He loved East Tennessee.
He loved the Vols.

He loved his family.
He loved Diane.
He loved me.
I loved him.

He's gone,
and I'm so fucking angry
and I'm so sad
and I'm so lost.

Banker & I left Sunday to head to Tennessee to do whatever we could.

We stopped at the Becker’s in North Carolina and then on to the Cabin

in South Carolina on Monday so we could be with the Patriot Guard

contingent that was escorting Allen from the airport in Charlotte to Tennessee.

On a recommendation by Bill Becker, we stopped in downtown Pittsboro, NC for breakfast.

Becker gave the Bacon Waffle a thumb’s up… so did I.  Banker went for the Smothered Hash Browns.

At the Cabin… the groundhog sunning himself.

Banker’s seen Deliverance, he thinks it’s some kind of “Southern Mating Event”

Ghost is pointing to his preference to the “Southern Mating Event”.

On our way to MAMMARY, Ghost thought it was time to clean his bike.

He normally only uses brushless car washes… but this *is* North Carolina,

and you have to take what you can get.

He didn’t even tip the ‘custodian’.
