I’ll just say at this point, the theme of this party will always be remembered as Carlsbad Cavern.
That’s all I’m gonna say about that.
The good news:
This year's check to The Eddie Kieger Charitable Trust currently stands at $1432.65.
Other People’s Pics:

My starting point…
Thursday, May 31st. Rocky Mount, NC.
Head to the cabin in SC and meet up with:
Gary & Linda Jinks… and R.E.
Gary & Linda were coming from MAMMARY via a weeks tour of North Carolina,
R.E. was also coming from MAMMARY, after some visits with friends in VA.
We had a good night telling lies and listening to some good music on WOLT in Greenville
after a great dinner put together by Linda. The following morning we headed out on some
back roads through the Upstate.
As we all know when traveling with R.E. it’s AARE. About 30 miles into the ride R.E.
decides to make contact with a bee. Not direct contact mind you,,, just a glancing
touch to his cheek, and the guts/blood/venom schmoozed up his cheek, under his
sunglasses and into his left eye.
For the rest of this adventure, meet up with me, Gary, Linda or R.E., IRL… I’m sure all the
stories will be exactly the same….

We're
home again. After a week & a half on the road Linda & I pulled
into the shop at 10 pm last night. Looked like an easy day when we left
Martin,
Tn. yesterday morning, but got longer as I realized the new GPS will lie to you
about milage. I thought 500 + was awfully short, but *all* electronics
are
accurate, right? Right?
Other than the GPS lie, we had a great time! MAMMARY & MAMBM, bunches
of Asshole's(tm), herds of netscum, & great hosts & hostesses
everywhere. I'd
drop names, but that'd make this post longer than my memory. You all know
who
you are & I hope you know how much we appreciate your hospitality.
Thank You!

Got
back to Dallas a couple hours ago. Pretty sunburned, I put on lotion
before I left Martin, but it got washed off in the deluge we hit in Little
Rock. That's where JC, Wakko 'n Mouse and I got separated.
Roger, a hell of a party as usual. Special thanks to Karen. I woke up
Saturday morning barely hanging on to life itself. (I'm sure pictures will
soon follow). Karen brought me plently of liquids in the morning to
re-hydrate as well as some ginger ale to soothe the stomach and gatorade for
the electrolytes. I do appreciate you nurseing me back to life. I don't know
WTF Schmoe was talking about, I know for certain that I purchase a number of
shots out of that Petron bottle Friday night.
It was great seeing (<----- insert your name here if you were at
the party
and we've met before) I always enjoy seeing you at these IRLs.
It was nice to finally meet (<---- insert your name here if you were at the
party and we met) it's always nice to put a face with a name.
Sorry if we didn't meet (<---- insert your name here if you were at the
party and we didn't meet) I tried to get to everyone I didn't know but I
guess I didn't get to everyone. My loss.
Sorry you weren't at the party (<----insert your name here if you didn't
make it to MAMBM) You were sorely missed by everybody who did make it. Maybe
next year.
I sure hope I didn't leave anybody out.
Again, Thanks to Roger and Karen. It was a great time. Oh yeah special
thanks to Joanie.

I
think Shirley is back now, after serving time in Tenn. so the cards on the
table.
As they say around here, "get ya some" I'll just have a cup of joe.
Kelly and I went for a ride to MAMBM Last weekend, had a blast, and met
alot of really great people.
Among the crowd was the infamous RE. We became fast friends. He told us how
he had ridin from Calif. to the Wall for Memorial Day. Rode back toward
MAMBM, was ambushed by a wasp and arrived late. He said he would be up in
our neck of the woods, so we invited him over to the house on his trip home.
He called us Wed. and said he'd picked up Connie and would be stopping
in
Madison In. for a night and then heading in Fri.
We figured we'd grill/smoke half a salmon with some rice pilaf and broccoli.
(and a fine Chianti)
The weather here was sketchy, T-storms moving in and out at will. But they
made it in with out rain.
We met Connie over dinner. What a lovely family they have, and getting
bigger exponentially.
RE and I sampled beer and Maker's Mark.(official ambassador here)
It was a coolish evening and we went for a ride over to the swamp, the best
lil biker bar in Louisville.
Later on the way to taking Uncle Bill to work, we both agreed that some sort
of computerized "smart" traffic light system needs to be set up.
I say we get started on that just as soon as we clear up the immigration
problem. snerk.
Kelly had to work early Sunday so she went off to bed around ten and me
and
RE sat around shootin the shit.
I was born in Calif. I've ridden quite a few of the same roads he has. I
really can't believe I had to move across the country, travel 300 miles to a
party, and get drunk on my ass to run into a fella who lives about two miles
from my sister. While he was working on the New Melones Dam I was fixing pac
man machines in the bar across the street.
Koinkidink's ain't over yet, in another thread here Les and I were talking
about servicars, he said, "You and RE would have alot to talk about the
old
'meter maids'."
So we talked about the meter maids. Turns out he don't like em cuz they make
unnecessary noise in SF.
We both still take the "old priests grade road" instead of the
new long
stupid way.
To make along story longer now we gotta go to California in October. That
can't be for just a weekend either, I have people I need to see If I'm gonna
be in the neighborhood.
We used to go to a NC beach in Sept. but I guess now we're going to
S.N.I.F.F. instead.
I guess at some point we must have fallen asleep. I made some coffee in
the morning, offered to take em out to breakfast, but they wanted to get
some hiway behind em. Long trek ahead. I rode out to I64 with them across
the bridge and into Indiana and out to Corydon. Where I turned around.
I'm really glad I made that IRL. What's that in the the road? A
head?

Got
home south of Kansas City about 5:30 PM local time (that would be
6:30 AM in Hong Kong, but since I don't know anyone there it is really
a moot point.) Had more fun at Roger's than I did the night back home
when fruit flies carried off the town wino.
Uneventful ride back home...except when I was on I-70 west of St.
Louis in the suburbs. Heard a funky noise on the right side of the
bike. Stuck my head to the side so I could hear it better and
'whip!'...off came my prescription sunglasses. Saw 'em land in the
middle of the inside lane, so I rode a couple miles, turned around and
doubled back to see if may-haps they were there. Nowhere in sight.
Prolly couldn't see 'em cuz I didn't have on any glasses.
Gonna take a shower and eat sumpin', then look at the pictures I took.
I don't recall who it was that took the picture of me presenting Roger
with an axe murderer style axe, but if it was you...could you send an
e-mail to me with it? andythe at earthlink dot net
Damn that was a hoot. Thanks Karen and Roger.

It's
like lip gloss butt for your nipples. I saw it at MAMBM. just ask
Casper, he got a nipple hair in his mouth.
