It all started the summer of '68 with a Honda 50. I was working in a cotton mill for the summer
to earn money to go to college. My brother-in-law let me use his Honda 50 to get to work
(about 2 miles). He got me the job, so he had a vested interest in getting me there. After the
summer was over, it was off to Berry College in Rome, GA. Since freshmen couldn't have cars
on campus, I thought the next best thing was to get a bike to get around (and pickup coeds).
So, I went out and bought this Honda 125
Fast forward 6 bikes:
(’69 Triumph Trophy 250, ’71 Honda CL350K3, 3 Sportsters (1 ’75, & 1 ‘69 seen below, the other was another ’75 - Black), ‘99 Super Glide and 100 years:
Me on my 1st Harley (Spring 1978), 1975 XLH 6” Over My daughter and me on my '69 XLH in '79 9” Over On my ’99 Dyna in Feb of 1999
Now, older and hopefully wiser, I've got a great partner in life (Pauline), a beautiful daughter
and great Son-In-Law(Courtney & James), a wonderful home, and I've got my bikes.
A '73 Ironhead Sportster, ’02 Road King (Rodney), and an
’08 Road Glide (Rude Olf) (numbers 8, 09 & 10). Life is good
great.

Product Reviews:
- Dyno Run at Edison Harley Davidson in Edison, NJ on November 24, 1999. Other Dyno Runs on TC88s and Evos with varying degrees of modifications can be found on the Nightrider site.
- T-Bag – Excellent quality, held up for over 55,000 miles on the ’99 Dyna and used often on the ’02 Road King for 65,000 miles.
- Mustang seat – Very comfortable on a ’99 Dyna for 55K, and on an ’02 Road King for 65K, but not so comfortable on an ’08 Road Glide.
I don’t think Mustang got it right for the ‘08s. Seating position wasn’t quite right for me.
- Touring Windshield – Great for the ’99 Dyna for long trips.
- Rear Signal relocation kit – Need to relocate when adding saddlebags.
- CBZ Enterprises GhostBrackets – Excellent product, and stayed workable through 5 years and 55K miles.
- American Eagle Leatherworks – Great saddle bags, wear like iron ran 55K in all kinds of weather and they look like new.
- Touring

on and off the bike. - Axtell - Price & Review April 27, 2000 - Based on personal experience by Ghost from HeD.
- Metzler Tires 880s price & review coming. Replaced the stock Dunlop rear at 12,000 miles and the front and rear at 24,500 miles. Some swear by Metzler, a very good friend (Island Joe) thinks they’re a waste of money (they wear to quickly). He was quite right. There are many other brands that have quality tires that perform as well as the Metzlers but also give longer mileage.
